• Having started at BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee right out of college as a Design Intern, I earned promotions up to the title of Manager of Brand Identity and Design. I’ve done the grunt work. I’ve sat across the table from CEOs. I’ve done strategic planning. I’ve worked collaboratively with clients and co-workers. I’ve made personnel decisions. I’ve been the logo police. In the midst of all of that, I occassionally had a chance to design.
Yet, I've got a whole world of things left to learn and explore.
Aside from the work at BlueCross, I’ve worked with a few freelance clients over the years, created a series of gig posters, been published in a couple of books (get a magnifying glass out and you’ll see my work in the seminal The Art of Modern Rock and Electric Frankenstein! High-Energy Punk Rock & Roll Poster Art) and written for HOW Magazine. I had a prank letter printed in an issue of Print Magazine too. I’m kinda proud of that one.
